On Wednesday, 24 November, 2021, An-Najah National University in cooperation with the Ministry of ‎Education and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific ‎Research, concluded the activities of High School Guidance Day, which is organized annually at the University.


The event which was sponsored by Jawwal, aimed to introduce twelfth grade students to the ‎different academic programs offered by Palestinian higher education ‎institutions and help them make their study choices. Additionally, it aimed to provide high- school students with detailed explanation about the University's academic ‎programs, admission procedures and requirements and scholarships.

On behalf of the University administration, Dr. Nidal Dwaikat, Vice President for Planning, Development and Quality Assurance at An-Najah, announced the launch of the activities of high school guidance day, and briefed the attendees on An-Najah's mission, vision, academic programs, campuses, scientific centers, research achievements, and international rankings.

The event included booths for 25 universities and higher education institutions in the West Bank. The University welcomed over 6000 students from a large number of high schools in Nablus, Tubas, Qabatiya and Tulkarm.

In addition, the Public Relations Department in cooperation with Deanship of Student Affairs at the University, organized introductory tours for visiting high-school students. The tours included visiting the New Campus's faculties, labs and library as well as An-Najah Centenary Museum.
