Dr. Basma Damiri, Assistant Professor at An-Najah National University's Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences and Omar Safarini, Fourth-Year Medical Student at An-Najah University and President of the International Medical Students' Research Association of the University, recently participated in the Forensic Middle East and Africa Virtual Conference, which was held under the theme “Future directions and frontiers in forensics practice.” The event was organized by the Arab Union of Forensics and Toxicology (AUFT), over the period of 12-14 October, 2020. ‎


The virtual event, which was meant to take place physically in Cairo, offered a much-needed space where the community of forensic practitioners - many of whom are frontlines in the current pandemic to learn, train, discuss and network with regard to forensics practice without needing to leave their home or office.

Dr. Damiri and Student Safarini, participated in the Afternoon Poster Session, and presented a scientific paper titled:" The Causes of Death Among Children in the West Bank in the Time Period 2099-2018."
