Accreditation of Anesthesia and Resuscitation BSc Program
An-Najah National University obtained accreditation for the BSc program in Anesthesia and Resuscitation by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research's Accreditation and Quality Assurance Commission. The program is included within the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences programs.
The program aims to qualify graduates to work in the fields of Anesthesia and Resuscitation built on the bases of international educational standards of higher professional education, as holders of this degree will be distinguished locally and internationally.
The program graduates have skills that match with the labor market needs. It aims to fill this gap and provide related institutions with high quality competencies within the specialization, which leads to upgrading the status of medicine and healthcare sectors in Palestine.
Students of Science Stream General Secondary Education Certificate (Tawjihi) may enroll in this competitive program, and after passing the personal interview. Students will gain knowledge from a large number of elite academic specialists in Palestine, that they will graduate with a unique rich experience on the scientific and cultural levels.
Expected graduates will play a crucial role in the Anesthesia care team. They will be trained to deliver safe and high quality Anesthesia care. They will also follow up on patients before, during, and after surgery.
Graduates may have the opportunity to work in operation rooms, supervise intensive care and emergency departments, dental clinics, and pain clinics. They can also continue their higher studies and conduct scientific research.
