An-Najah's ASCE Awarded a 2020 Certificate of Commendation
An-Najah National University's American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) has been awarded a 2020 certificate of commendation in recognition by the committee on student members as an outstanding student chapter of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE).
ASCE commendation recognized each chapter's achievements and competition victories over the past year, and it is only bestowed upon a select group of universities. (The ASCE stipulates that no more than 5% of the total amount of student chapters receive commendation certificates.)
An-Najah's ASCE was classified among top 33% chapters in 2018 and became among top 5% in 2019.
Founded in 1852, ASCE represents more than 140,000 members of the civil engineering profession worldwide and is America’s oldest national engineering society.
An-Najah's ASCE aims to prepare the students to enter the civil engineering profession and society specifically in professional matters, professional contacts and networking and Leadership development.
