An-Najah Student Mohammad Ramadan Wins Second Place in the European Final of SOFE 2019
Student Mohammad Ramadan from the Mechanical Engineering Department at An-Najah University has recently won second place in the Speak Out For Engineering (SOFE) competition which was held in London on Friday, October 25, 2019 and organized by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE).
The competition included participants from six countries around the world including Germany, the Netherlands, Malta, Palestine, Iberia and Scandinavia.
Student Ramadan who won the Speak Out For Engineering (SOFE) local competition which took place in September, 2019 at Palestine Technical University – Khadouri, delivered a 20-minutes presentation followed by 10-minutes of questions in front of a panel of judges who assessed his performance.

Speak Out For Engineering (SOFE) is the annual presentation competition for IMechE young members. SOFE offers students the opportunity to present on a technical topic of their choice in front of a panel of judges who will assess the entries and provide feedback. The aim of the competition is to develop students' presentation/communication skills and teach them how to deliver a technical presentation to a primarily non-technical audience.
