IEEE An-Najah Student Branch is the Winner of IEEE Global Student Branch Website Contest 2019
The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers of An-Najah National University Student Branch (IEEE) has recently won the first place in the global websites development competition, IEEE Global Student Branch Website Contest 2019, beating all participating student branches around the world.
The contest competing criteria are based on website usability, accessibility, solid content, presentation, navigability, originality and portability.
IEEE An-Najah website met all the contest standards and won the first place. The website contains two parts. The first is the Black Hole Blog which aims to enrich the Arabic content by collecting important scientific articles around the world and translating them to Arabic by professional student team.
The other part is dedicated to listing the IEEE upcoming activities offering participants online registration.
It is worth mentioning that IEEE An-Najah is supervised by Dr. Mona Demaidi, Computer Engineering Assistant Professor. Dr. Al-Demaidi paid tribute to the work of An-Najah team and gave special thanks to the WebMaster Omar Bishtawi for his great efforts.
