An-Najah Obtains Accreditation for a New PhD Program in Teaching and Learning
An-Najah National University has recently received the Ministry of Education and Higher Education Accreditation for a New PhD Program in teaching and learning.
With this achievement, An-Najah now offers five PhD programmes; namely, Chemistry, Physics in cooperation with Lancaster University, Fiqh and Tashreeh, Arabic Language and Literature and Teaching and Learning.
It is worth mentioning that An-Najah is the only university in Palestine that offers this program. The university sat the course plans according to the standards and requirements of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education.
Dr. Sabri Saidam, Minister of Education and Higher Education and Dr. Waleed Sweileh, Chairman of the Accreditation and Quality Authority congratulated Prof. Natsheh, Acting President of An-Najah on this achievement.
On this occasion, Prof. Natsheh said that An-Najah is the only university in Palestine that offers a PhD program in teaching and learning. He also expressed his pride in An-Najah's Faculty of Graduate Studies, Faculty of Educational Sciences and Teacher Training and Deputy President Office for Planning, Development and Quality Assurance and said that this great achievement is a testament to the hard work of the University administration and staff to develop more academic programs, enhance scientific research and eventually promote the University's excellence nationally and internationally.
