On Sunday, March 24, 2019, the Scholarships Office at An-Najah National ‎University in cooperation with the AMIDEAST organized an information session on ‎Fulbright scholarships at the New Campus’s Library’s Conference Room.‎

The session focused on introducing the university students and those who are interested ‎in perusing their higher education in the U.S to the Masters’ scholarships offered by Fulbright.

It also shed light on the AMIDEAST philosophy to develop education and student training and creating links with the American people through different scholarship programs.

The session was moderated by Ms. Hiba Hammouri, Senior Scholarships Program Assistant at the AMEDEAST and Dr. Rasha Khayyat, Scholarships Coordinator at An-Najah.

Ms. Hammouri introduced the students to the scholarship's terms, requirements, application and selection process, deadlines, programs and covered expenses.

At the end of the session, Ms. Hammouri answered the students’ questions on the subject.

Notes:

The Fulbright Program is sponsored by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs and is executed by the AMEDEAST in Palestine. It offers Palestinian students the opportunity to pursue their higher education in ‎the United States of America. Participants also have the unique opportunity to ‎experience life in the United States and to share Palestinian unique culture and ‎traditions with Americans. ‎
