An-Najah Concludes the Activities of Its 38th Commencement Ceremonies (An-Najah Centenary Cohort)
On Thursday, July 12, 2018, and under the patronage of His Excellency President Mahmoud Abbas, An-Najah National University celebrated the last of its 38th commencement ceremonies (An-Najah Centenary Cohort) at the Hikmat Al-Masri Amphitheater in the New Campus.
The ceremonies had started on Monday, July 9, 2018 with honoring the top students then the graduation of all the faculties on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
The ceremony started with a speech by Professor Maher Natsheh, Acting President of An-Najah who greeted the ceremony attendees and talked about the university development in terms of academic programmes and scientific research.
He extended his greetings to the Palestinian government represented by his Excellency President Mahmoud Abbas and the Prime Minister, Prof. Rami Hamdallah who always support the university and its progress.
He went on to express his gratitude to An-Najah's Board of Trustees on their efforts, thanking as well the university vice presidents and assistants, the deans and the academic and administrative staff that have contributed and contribute to serving An-Najah.
He then congratulated the graduates and their parents and wished them a glorious future filled with innovation and success.
Finally, Prof. Natsheh and the vice presidents and assistants awarded the graduates with their certificates.
- The ceremony was also attended by Dr. Mohammad El-Amleh, Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dr. Maher Abu Zant, Vice President for Administrative as well as the deans, heads of departments and university staff.
