An-Najah Launches the Computer Science Apprenticeship Programme for Bachelor's Level
After obtaining the Ministry of Higher Education Accreditation, An-Najah National University is launching the Computer Science Apprenticeship Programme for Bachelor's level at the beginning of the academic year 2018/2019.
The programme is one of its type in Palestine as it is designed and executed in cooperation with the IT sector in Palestine. That is, it will be offering An-Najah students training opportunities and engage them in the labour market.
The programme aims to enrich the IT sector in Palestine with creative minds that can create opportunities and turn them into projects.
The programme equivalent in quality to other programmes in different prominent international universities such as the University of Technology of Belfort-Montbéliard (UTBM) in France, Northwestern University in the U.S and the University of Manchester in the U.K.
The programme enrollees will be offered 2100 training hours of which 1280 for training courses and 820 for the joint courses between An-Najah and the companies.
The programme has two main branches; namely, Artificial Intelligence and Software Engineering.
It is worth mentioning that a number of the companies' staff will be involved in the teaching process of the programme courses as well as the training inside the companies.
