Dr. Beshtawi presented her research paper titled: "Establishing Contact Lens Growth in your Schools with Future Contact Lens Practitioners".

She also talked about the optometry programme courses theoretical teaching methods and the practical training offered at An-Najah's labs and clinics. She further discussed the optometry applications of the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago with Dr. Janice Jurkus.

The conference also included an open discussion on how to develop optometry students' skills to offer the best healthcare services to contact lens wearers.
