As part of the Palestinian-Dutch Academic Cooperation Programme on Water
(PADUCOII), Drs Sameer Shadeed and Mohammad Al-Masri, staff members at the Water and Environmental Studies Institute (WESI) and the Faculty of Engineering and IT at An-Najah made a scientific visit to Wageningen University and Research and the IHE Delft Institute for Water Education to discuss possible means of mutual cooperation in terms of implementing the Netherlands Representative Office in Ramallah funded projects.


Both Dr. Shadeed and Dr. Al-Masri presented their projects titled: “MObile app for optimizing, promoting Rain WATER harvesting for a self-sustaining and self-reliant water supply (MORWater)” and “Development of a groundwater decision support system (GDSS) for optimal management of pumping and for the protection of groundwater quality” at Wageningen and IHE Delft respectively.
An-Najah delegation also discussed further means of mutual cooperation in terms of future projects.
