The visit aimed at completing the joint research Prof. Nunes is doing in cooperation with Dr. Abu Reidah and Dr. Wael Ennab from the Geography Department.

Prof. Nunes gave a lecture to the geography students titled: “Palestine and Its Economic Geography: The industrial sector in the West Bank “.

The lecture shed light on the economic geography in Palestine and the results and recommendations of Dr. Abu Reidah’s thesis on the industrial sector in the West Bank.

Prof. Nunes also met with a number of the geography staff members to learn about the department’s academic programmes for the Bachelors and the Masters.
