An-Najah Professor Participates in the International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience Annual Conference
On Friday, January 20th, 2017, Dr. Reyad Abdul Kareem, staff member at the Civil Engineering Department at An-Najah participated in the International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience (IAESTE) Annual Conference.
The conference was over 6 days from January 20th-25th, 2017 and took place in South Korea.
The conference included 85 countries as 41 training opportunity were offered in different scientific and artistic fields.
Palestine offered 32 training opportunities as the exchange was made with 25 world countries including Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, Austria, Spain, Portugal, Turkey, Tunisia, Oman, Czech, South Korea, Thailand, Sweden, India and Pakistan.

IAESTE is an international organization exchanging students for technical work experience abroad. Students gain relevant technical training lasting from 4 weeks to 18 months. It includes committees representing 100 countries, with the potential of accepting new countries into the organization every year.
