Dr. Morrar visited for a month, from December to January.

First, Dr. Morrar visited the Korea Institute for International Economic Policy (KIEP) to finish a research paper titled: "Development of Key Performance Indicators and Impact Assessment for R&D Sector in Palestine".

The study, which will be published by KIEP soon, addresses material and human potentials of Research and Development Department, the role of academic and non-academic institutions in research and development activities and the obstacles and outcomes of research and development studies.

Dr. Morrar also gave a lecture to Middle East and North African Studies PhD students at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies.

His topic discussed the effect of the election of Donald Trump on the economic and political situation in the Middle East.

In addition, Dr. Morrar was the main speaker at the First Middle East Research Society meeting which was held in Seoul.

He presented his paper on the Palestinian Economy and talked about the challenges and the available investment opportunities.
