On Thursday, August 25th, 2016, the Office of International Development and External Affairs (IDEA) at An-Najah organized an orientation session for University of London SOAS Students at the library’s conference room in the Old Campus.

The session offered SOAS students enrolling in the Arabic for Non-Native Speakers Programme information about the West Bank, life in Nablus, and An-Najah National University.

Ms Christen Phaneuf and Ms Karam Abu Ghazaleh from the International Office discussed a number of issues about An-Najah history, students and campuses, the culture in Nablus, transportation, money exchange and cost of living, food, and accommodation. They also informed the students about the things to do and not to do in Nablus.

The session also shed light on other topics that will help students in their study and enjoy their time in Palestine such as the Zajel tours, voluntary work at different parts of Nablus and spending holidays.

Notes:

The session was also attended by Ms. Shatha Jararaa and Mr. Jalal Al-Salman from the Public Relations Department at An-Najah.
