An-Najah Hosts a Study Day on Basic Surgical Skills in Fracture Treatment
On Thursday, June 23rd, 2016, the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at An-Najah hosted a study day on basic surgical skills in fracture treatment under the supervision of AO Foundation, a nonprofit organization in Switzerland dedicated to improving the care of patients with musculoskeletal injuries and their sequelae through research, development, education and quality assurance in the principles, practice and result of fracture treatment.
The day included a number of lectures and open discussions and resulted in establishing a branch of AO in Palestine headed by Dr. Mazen Abdullah, Lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at An-Najah.
It is worth mentioning that the day took three years long of preparation in cooperation with the Palestinian Orthopedic Association.

The day was organized in cooperation with Jonson and Jonson Company.
The day was also attended by Dr. Mahmoud Al-Awdat from Jordan in addition to a number experts and specialists in orthopedic surgery from different parts of the Arab World.
