An-Najah Participates in the “Design Hub Palestine” Workshop

On Wednesday, March 2nd, 2016, the Applied Arts Department at An-Najah participated in the “Design Hub Palestine” workshop as part of a designing framework executed by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) at Khalil Sakakini Cultural Center in Ramallah.
The workshop was over five days from March 2nd-6th, 2016 and aimed at introducing a group of furniture designed works that embody the Palestinian culture in a contemporary style.
Notes:
- The workshop was moderated by the Applied Arts Department, An-Najah Business Innovation and Partnership Centre (NaBIC), UNIDO and the Nablus Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
- The workshop was also attended by Dr. Mohammad Jaber, Head of the Applied Arts Department and a number of the department’s staff members.
- UNIDO is the specialized agency of the United Nations that promotes industrial development for poverty reduction, inclusive globalization and environmental sustainability.
