An-Najah’s Student Wins 3rd Place at the International Arabic Calligraphy Festival in Tunisia
Qasem Noah Qasem from An-Najah National University, representing the State of Palestine, participated in the International Student Festival of Arabic Calligraphy, hosted by the University Center for Cultural and Sports Activities in the city of Nabeul, Republic of Tunisia, with the participation of approximately 100 male and female students from various Arab countries.
Qassem secured third place in this prestigious international event, an achievement that reflects the high level of creativity and academic and artistic excellence demonstrated by An-Najah University students, and affirms the University’s active presence in Arab and international cultural and artistic forums.
This achievement comes as a result of the pivotal role played by the Deanship of Student Affairs at the University through nurturing student talents, supporting creative energies, and providing genuine opportunities for students to participate in international competitions and events, thereby contributing to the development of their skills and enabling them to represent both the University and Palestine with distinction.
The State of Palestine’s Embassy in Tunisia praised Qasem’s participation in the international festival through its official website, expressing pride in An-Najah and in the Palestinian youth whose competencies continue to raise the name of Palestine high in international forums.
For his part, student Qasem Qasem expressed his pride in this experience, affirming that it was a challenging and creativity-filled journey that required completing an artistic work within only two hours. He added that his participation represented an important opportunity to represent Palestine through the University and to showcase Palestinian creative talents at the international level.
