On February 19, 2025, An-Najah National University’s Faculty of Engineering and the Deanship of Student Affairs inaugurated a Joint Engineering Exhibition, organized by the AIAS and ASCE Societies under the supervision of the Deanship of Student Affairs. The event aimed to foster collaboration between engineering disciplines by highlighting fields such as architecture, urban planning, civil engineering, building engineering, and geomatics engineering.


Held at the Chess Square on the new campus, the exhibition was attended by Dr. Muhannad Haj Hussein, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering; Dr. Sameh Monna, Director of the Civil and Architectural Engineering Department; Dr. Samir Abu Eisheh, Supervisor of the Civil Engineering Society; Mr. Eyad Aqraa, Director of Student Affairs; Hiba Al-Masri, President of the Civil Engineering Society; Kinda Hawash, President of the Architectural Engineering Society, along with faculty members, administrative staff, student society representatives, and participating students.

The exhibition featured interactive booths on concrete testing, surveying, soil analysis, construction planning, urban design, and architectural projects, along with membership booths, networking spaces, a gaming area, and hospitality services.

Dr. Haj Hussein emphasized the university’s support for student-led initiatives and their role in enhancing collaboration across engineering fields. Mr. Aqraa highlighted the event’s role in introducing students to different engineering disciplines and commended the global achievements of An-Najah’s students.

Additionally, Al-Masri and Hawash described the exhibition as an opportunity for students to showcase creativity and explore innovative technologies like 3D printing and augmented reality.

The exhibition attracted students, faculty, and high school visitors, offering valuable insights into engineering and inspiring future professionals.
