An-Najah Launches the ‘Workforce Readiness’ Seminar for the Entrepreneurs Association


An-Najah National University, through its Faculty of Information Technology and Artificial Intelligence and the Deanship of Student Affairs, hosted the “Workforce Readiness” seminar, an initiative organized by the Entrepreneurs Association. The event aligns with the university’s commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in advancing quality education and fostering strategic partnerships.
Held on February 18, 2025, at the Law Auditorium on the New Campus, the seminar aimed to equip students with essential career skills and job market insights. It welcomed distinguished guests, including Mr. Anan Nasser, Coordinator of Student Associations at the Deanship of Student Affairs; Mr. Tareq Shreim, Representative of the Knowledge Academy; and Ammar Shtayyeh, President of the Entrepreneurs Student Association. Faculty members, student association representatives, and students eager to enhance their career readiness also attended.
In his opening remarks, Mr. Nasser reaffirmed the university’s commitment to equipping students with practical skills and industry knowledge. He praised the Entrepreneurs Association for its valuable initiatives, particularly the “Entrepreneur at My University” exhibition, and highlighted the importance of collaborative events like this seminar, organized in partnership with the Knowledge Academy.
Ammar Shtayyeh emphasized the Entrepreneurs Association’s role in fostering entrepreneurial thinking among students and creating entrepreneurship ambassadors across various faculties. He underscored the importance of workforce readiness, resume building, and networking—particularly on LinkedIn—offering students practical guidance. He also thanked the Faculty of Information Technology and Artificial Intelligence and the Deanship of Student Affairs for their support of student-led initiatives.
Mr. Shreim introduced the Knowledge Academy’s mission and impact, discussing effective resume-building strategies, challenges graduates face in the job market, and key skills essential for career advancement. The seminar concluded with an interactive discussion, where students engaged with speakers and received personalized career advice.
