The Pharmaceutical Students' Federation at An-Najah National University (PSF-NNU) and the Jordan Pharmaceutical Students' Association (JPSA) successfully concluded the 11th Eastern Mediterranean Pharmaceutical Symposium (11th EMPS Jordan 2024), held in Amman from July 2 to 7, 2024. This significant event brought together pharmacy students from various universities across the Middle East.

Student Sahar Qanna, Marketing Officer at PSF-NNU, highlighted that the symposium was initially planned to take place in Palestine, but due to current circumstances, it was relocated to Jordan. She emphasized the strong collaboration between PSF-NNU and JPSA in organizing this event.

Vice President of the Symposium, student Mufida Afifi, expressed her disappointment at the absence of their colleagues from the Palestinian Pharmaceutical Students' Federation (PPSF) in Gaza due to current circumstances in Gaza. "Despite the challenges, we remain united in spirit. Our thoughts are with our colleagues, and we hope to see them well," she said. The symposium featured various workshops and lectures aimed at enhancing the scientific and practical skills of pharmacy students, with participation from distinguished professors from both Jordan and Palestine.

The PSF-NNU expressed its gratitude to the event supervisors and praised the significant contributions of An-Najah National University. Sahar Qanna further acknowledged the continuous support of the university's Deanship of Student Affairs and its commitment to empowering students through various activities. Special thanks were also extended to the Palestine Syndicate of Pharmacists, led by Dr. Ayman Al-Khammash, for its ongoing support of the event.

This symposium marks another successful collaboration between pharmaceutical students in the region, fostering the exchange of knowledge and experiences within the field of pharmacy.
