The IWP Fall Residency brings together established writers who have achieved literary distinction in their own countries as well as rising literary figures who have demonstrated notable potential talent.  Fiction and literary non-fiction writers, bloggers, film/television screenwriters, playwrights, and poets are all eligible for nomination.  The Residency in Iowa City will take place this year from August 19 to November 7, 2017.

The deadline for Posts to indicate interest in participating is April 14, 2017.  The deadline to submit the complete online nomination is April 28, 2017.  Each participating Public Affairs Section may nominate up to three writers for the IWP Fall Residency.
