Students from An-Najah’s Engineering Faculty Take First Place in Silicon Valley Tech Competition
A team from An-Najah University received first place at the level of emerging technology companies in a Silicon Valley competition held in the US.
The team’s winning invention was a pen which tracks notes. Ows An-Nabulsi represented An-Najah University in the competition in which numerous companies presented their products in front of a committee composed of CEOs from large Silicon Valley companies, businessmen, and investors.
The team’s participation in the contest came after a series of successes which allowed them to reach the Silicon Valley competition. To qualify for the Silicon Valley competition, the An-Najah team, composed of four engineering students, Ows An-Nabulsi, Abd Al-Azeem Al-Bukhari, Ibrahim Wahbeh, and Fadi Shahid, won an earlier competition held in the Czech Republic.
