An-Najah University Ranks First in Palestine in QS World University Rankings 2026
An-Najah National University ranked first in Palestine for academic reputation, international research collaboration, and sustainable development, according to the 2026 QS World University Rankings, one of the world’s leading university ranking systems. The University made notable progress across all core indicators, strengthening its international academic and research presence.
The QS ranking evaluates universities based on academic reputation, employer reputation, research quality, graduate employability, international outlook, and the sustainability index, which measures environmental and social responsibility. This achievement confirms An-Najah’s role as a national academic leader and think tank.
An-Najah is the first and only Palestinian university included in all Times Higher Education (THE) global rankings, including the Top 100 globally in the 2025 THE Impact Rankings. It also ranks first in Palestine and 20th in the Arab world in the Arab Universities Ranking, first nationally in the QS Sustainability Ranking, and first in the GreenMetric Ranking for green universities.
The University is the only Palestinian institution listed in the U.S. News Best Global Universities ranking, ranks first in Palestine in the Webometrics Ranking, and is among the top 8.6% of global universities in the CWUR 2025 ranking.
It also leads in the URAP academic performance ranking, and is the first Palestinian university listed in the QS World Rankings by Subject in Medicine for 2025. An-Najah continues to top the UNIRANKS classification locally and is well-represented in global researcher rankings, including the Stanford Top 2% Scientists list.
