An-Najah National University's ASCE Student Chapter has once again been recognized for its exceptional performance in civil engineering and building engineering activities. The American Society of Civil Engineering (ASCE) has awarded the Letter of Honorable Mention to An-Najah's ASCE Student Chapter for the fifth time since its foundation 10 years ago.

This award places An-Najah's ASCE Student Chapter among the most advanced ranks of the ASCE's student chapters worldwide. The ASCE's recognition comes after the Chapter's annual report for 2022 recorded outstanding activities. The ASCE parent organization in the United States of America, which has more than 400 student chapters worldwide, grants this award to the top third of all student chapters based on their Annual Report score.

The ASCE recognition is a testament to the exceptional dedication and enthusiasm of the Chapter’s student officers and members, who have tirelessly worked towards advancing the Chapter's goals. This recognition is also a testament to the invaluable guidance provided by the Chapter’s advisor, Prof. Sameer Abu Eisheh, who has consistently supported and motivated the Chapter.

Furthermore, the ASCE's evaluation emphasizes the Chapter's distinction in carrying out activities that aim to refine students' personalities and equip them with practical skills that will prepare them for the labor market. These activities involve planning, implementing, and managing creative initiatives that enhance students' scientific and practical capabilities, giving them a competitive edge in the field of civil engineering and building engineering.

An-Najah's ASCE Student Chapter is proud to receive this recognition, which highlights its commitment to excellence in civil engineering and building engineering. The Chapter is grateful for the support of its members, advisors, and the An-Najah National University community.
