An-Najah National University has once again demonstrated its academic excellence, ranking first in Palestine and securing a prominent position among leading universities regionally and globally in the January 2025 edition of the Webometrics Transparency Ranking.
The university’s citation count saw a significant increase, reaching 154,832, up from 137,671 in July 2024—an impressive growth of 17,161 citations.

This metric, which accounts for 10% of the overall Webometrics score, highlights the university’s research influence on a global scale.
Webometrics, published by the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), is the world's largest university ranking system. Released twice a year, it evaluates universities based on web presence, research visibility, and overall online impact.
This latest achievement reaffirms An-Najah University’s leading position in higher education, strengthening its global presence through research excellence, innovation, and an outstanding academic environment.
