Three researchers from An-Najah National University have published a peer-reviewed scientific bulletin that constitutes a significant contribution to global educational literature. The bulletin offers an in-depth examination of the rapid transformations in educational leadership and policy-making amid the rise of artificial intelligence technologies. Its publication comes at a time when education worldwide is undergoing a transitional phase that calls for new insights to ensure the quality and sustainability of learning in the digital age.

The paper reviews the fundamental changes shaping educational leadership and the challenges educational institutions face in adopting artificial intelligence technologies—particularly those related to reshaping educational policies, developing digital infrastructure, enhancing the competencies of educational leaders, and ensuring equitable access to technology. It also highlights the importance of leveraging artificial intelligence to improve the quality of education, support decision-making, and build more flexible and innovative learning environments.

The bulletin underscores that digital transformation requires educational decision-makers to adopt modern policies that respond to the demands of the current phase and guide the use of intelligent technologies in ways that serve educational objectives while upholding principles of equity and digital ethics. It also presents a scientific framework that helps educational institutions understand the emerging roles of leadership and effectively harness the opportunities offered by artificial intelligence.

This bulletin is the result of a joint research effort by scholars from the University: Prof. Saed Khayat, Prof. Allam Mousa, and Dr. Soheil Salha, who presented a contemporary analytical vision of the future of education and its leadership in the light of technological advancement.

This achievement reflects the University’s strong presence in scientific research related to digital transformation and artificial intelligence. It highlights the contributions of its researchers to producing advanced knowledge that supports the development of educational systems locally and across the Arab region, reinforcing the University’s role as an academic reference in contemporary educational issues.
