New Research Achievement by Dr. Farid Abu-Idheir Published in a Prestigious International Journal
Dr. Farid Abu-Idheir from the Department of Communication and Digital Media at An-Najah National University has co-authored a research paper with Professor Brian Bowe (Western Washington University) and Mr. Sidqi Mousa (Arab American University). The study, titled “Obstacles and Opportunities: Palestinian Youth’s Uses of Social Media to Promote International Solidarity,” was published in the renowned journal Global Media and Communication (Impact Factor: 1.5, published by SAGE).
The paper explores how Palestinian media students use social media to share the Palestinian narrative with Western audiences, highlighting challenges such as language barriers and content restrictions.
