An-Najah Research Team Publishes Groundbreaking Study on the Impact of Housing Conditions on Health in Palestinian Society

A research team from An-Najah National University has published a pioneering study examining the relationship between housing conditions and public health in Palestinian society. The study, titled "Examining the Nexus Between Housing Conditions and Health Outcomes in Palestinian Society: A Mixed-Method Investigation," was conducted by Dr. Oqab Jabali, Dr. Abed AlKarim Ayyoub, and Mr. Munther Saeedi from the Faculty of Humanities, in collaboration with Shaden Jabali, a graduate of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences.
The research was published in the esteemed journal BMC Public Health, a Q1-ranked journal with an impact factor of 3.5, issued by Springer Nature, one of the world's leading academic publishers.
Using a mixed-methods research approach, the study integrates quantitative and qualitative analysis to explore the reciprocal effects of housing conditions on public health in Palestine. The findings provide critical insights into the health challenges faced by Palestinian communities under varying housing conditions, offering a valuable contribution to the field of public health and social policy development.
