An-Najah Excels in Research in Renewable Energy Field
An-Najah National University has excelled in research in the field of renewable energy in terms of location study, establishment of climate databases through weather stations existing in different regions in the West Bank, data analysis, and designing, installing, operating and maintaining solar energy systems through the University’s Energy Research Center.
The University developed academic programs in technical fields specialized in renewable energy and obtained accreditation for new MSc and PhD programs in the field. It also established laboratories for measurement and investigation, and conducted highly-specialized applied scientific research.
Also, the University encourages training in this discipline, and prioritizes Research Projects that tackle problems in the energy sector in Palestine.
Dr. Emad Breik played a key role in introducing technologies of renewable energy to the University and producing high quality research papers published in international journals with prestigious reputation and prominent impact factor, and competitive with research papers produced by universities and research centers in developed countries.
