• There are some first aid measures that make a difference if accomplished within seconds to minutes of a poison exposure. 
• Be familiar with the steps below for swallowed poisons, poisons in the eye, on the skin, or inhaled (breathed in). 
• Call 101 Hotline right away if the individual collapses, has a seizure, has trouble breathing, or can't be awakened.
• We work in association with other responsible bodies in developing contingency plans for, and responding to, chemical disasters, in monitoring the adverse effects of drugs and in handling problems of substance abuse.
• If you get poisoned, you should first be CALM and Do the following according to poisoning status
