On Thursday, March 20, 2025, the Human Resources Department at An-Najah University, in collaboration with the Sustainability Office, held a training workshop on the environmental aspects of sustainable development, as part of the University’s commitment to providing annual mandatory training for academic and administrative staff on environmental sustainability.

The workshop, led by Dr. Abdelhaleem Khader, Assistant Dean of Scientific Research, covered key topics such as natural resource management, reducing carbon footprints, and applying sustainability standards in academic and administrative environments. Over 60 participants engaged in practical exercises and discussions, aimed at incorporating sustainability into their daily and administrative activities.

This workshop is part of a series of programs designed to raise awareness and enhance staff skills in environmental sustainability, in line with international standards for higher education sustainability rankings.
