An-Najah Organizes Training Workshop on Digital Transformation Towards a Sustainable University
As part of its ongoing efforts to promote institutional sustainability and enhance the administrative work environment, An-Najah National University organized a training workshop titled “Digital Transformation Towards a Sustainable University” on Wednesday, 25 March 2026, at An-Najah Innovation Park. The workshop was organized by the Sustainable Development Office in collaboration with the Human Resources Department, with the participation of staff members nominated by faculty deans and department directors based on the nature of their roles and their involvement in developing administrative processes.
The workshop was delivered by Dr. Rani Shahwan, Business Unit Director at An-Najah Innovation Park, who presented key concepts of digital transformation and highlighted its importance in improving administrative efficiency, developing institutional procedures, and reducing reliance on paper-based transactions, thereby supporting the University’s transition toward an environmentally sustainable campus.
In this context, Dr. Loai aburaida, Coordinator of the Sustainable Development Office, emphasized that the organization of this workshop aligns with the University’s vision of embedding a culture of digital transformation and linking it to institutional sustainability practices. He also underscored the importance of equipping administrative staff with modern skills and tools to enhance service quality and improve institutional performance.
The workshop addressed several key themes, most notably the significance of digital transformation in educational institutions, its role in accelerating procedures and improving service quality, as well as enhancing operational efficiency and optimizing resource use to support sustainable institutional transformation.
The workshop witnessed active engagement from participants, who presented a range of practical ideas and proposals supporting the University’s digital transformation and sustainability efforts.
