In a momentous stride towards strengthening the collaborative ties between An-Najah National University, Forschungszentrum Jülich GmbH (FZJ) in Germany, and Laval University in Canada, Alaa Khatir, a student in the Master's Program in Artificial Intelligence at An-Najah National University, has been granted a prestigious six-month research scholarship by the Palestine Academy for Science and Technology. The scholarship enables her to conduct extensive research for her master's thesis at Jülich under the dual supervision of Dr. Anas Toma from An-Najah University as the local supervisor and Dr. Mike Boltz from Jülich as the international supervisor.


This remarkable achievement is the culmination of a year-long collaboration with the esteemed Jülich Research Institute. Dr. Toma, representing An-Najah National University, paid a visit to the institute last summer, acquainting them with the cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence Master's Program offered at An-Najah University and showcasing the exceptional capabilities of its academic staff.

Furthermore, substantial progress is underway on a joint project with Laval University in the captivating fields of artificial intelligence and civil engineering.
