An-Najah National University proudly announces the outstanding achievements of its female students in recent competitions hosted by the Palestinian Ministry of Education & Higher Education and the Ministry of Women's Affairs. The two ministries have recognized the excellence of An-Najah National University students in both Academic Research and the Student Researcher Competitions.


In the Academic Research Competition on issues of gender equality and women's empowerment, conducted by the Ministry of Higher Education in collaboration with the Palestinian Ministry of Women's Affairs, An-Najah's student Ruaa Ahmed Muhammad Jaradat from the Faculty of Law received the competition award for her research titled "Women's Participation in Political Life in Palestine: Legislative Challenges or Social Reality?" This achievement underscores the University's commitment to promoting gender culture and women's empowerment through insightful academic contributions.

In the Student Researcher Competition - the third session, funded by the Quality Development and Scientific Research Fund in Higher Education for University Students, two exceptional students from An-Najah National University were recognized for their remarkable research contributions:

Aya Abdel-Ghani, a bachelor's program student from the Department of Geography and Geomatics, won the competition prize for her research titled "Estimating the Volume of Water Erosion in Wadi Al-Fara and Al-Baut Basins According to the Gavilovic EPM Model." 

Raghad Alawneh, a student in the Engineering Management MA program, received the competition award for her research titled "Effect of Green Human Resource Management Practices on Environmental Sustainability Performance in Palestinian Universities: The Mediating Roles of Management Support and Organizational Culture." 

An-Najah National University applauds these accomplished female students for their dedication, intellect, and commitment to advancing knowledge in crucial areas such as gender equality, environmental sustainability, and academic research. The university extends its gratitude to the ministries for providing platforms that recognize and celebrate academic excellence among Palestinian students.
