An-Najah Medical Alumnus Wins a Research Fellowship Program from the Collaborative Center for XDP

Qais Abu Hassan, An-Najah Alumnus from the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences won a research fellowship program from the Collaborative Center for XDP at Massachusetts General Hospital in cooperation with Harvard University.
The Collaborative Center for X-Linked Dystonia-Parkinsonism (CCXDP) supports an international consortium of scientists, clinicians, and patient advocates working together to advance research and treatments for X-Linked Dystonia-Parkinsonism (XDP), a debilitating neurodegenerative disease caused by a transposable element.
Through this fellowship program, Abu Hassan will be provided with the skills and abilities necessary to enhance his research career and pursue medical education in the United States.
