
An-Najah University is hosting a webinar on the 19th of August at 5:00 pm Jerusalem time about the impact of Covid-19 on Women. ‘’The pandemic is deepening pre-existing inequalities and exposing vulnerabilities in social, political, legal and economic systems - which is in turn, amplifying the impacts of the pandemic’’ (UN Secretary-General’s policy brief: The impact of COVID-19 on women). Therefore, the Webinar will cover these four different areas regarding women - Political, Legal, Economical and Social - in the context of Covid-19. The webinar is in English and it targets local and international audiences.

- H.E Judge Samoud Dameri, Chief Prosecutor for personal status at the Sharia court Palestine, and judge of the Sharia Court of Appeal, Ramallah.
- Dr.Samah Saleh, Assistant professor in the social work department and coordinator of Master program in Women Studies, an-Najah university/Board member of the Palestinian money Authority.
