Teaching and Learning

The program seeks to employ a variety of methods and tools of modern ‎educational strategies, to follow the development of students' skills to think, ‎research, criticism, listening and discipline, to the maximum extent.
For the specialty of this program, which combines theory and practice, ‎different teaching methods are used that help students develop their skills. ‎Lecturing, classroom discussion, dialogue, project based learning are some ‎examples of teaching methods that the faculty of Education use in their ‎teaching. We can’t forget the practical training in schools where students are ‎trained in real schools.

 

Coursework and Assessment

Since the program depends on new and different methods of teaching and ‎learning, it requires using also different evaluation methods. Methods of ‎Teaching Technology for upper grade level program uses for example self- ‎evaluation to help students identify their strengths, weaknesses, and needs. ‎In addition to that, the faculty use Authentic Assessment, which reflects ‎students’ achievement in real situation as in practicum courses.  Formative ‎assessment is another way of evaluation that the program uses in assessing ‎students’ performance, which gives students and faculty feedback about ‎students’ progress. On top of that, summative assessment , which is based ‎on students’ grades on exams.
