The Art Therapy Master’s Program offers a unique opportunity for Palestinian students with a bachelor’s degree in relevant fields such as psychology, social work, education, health sciences (nursing, midwifery, audiology, and speech), and fine arts (graphic arts, visual arts, and applied arts). This program equips students to apply the theories and skills gained during their undergraduate studies to help different populations, promoting social integration and benefiting their communities.

Teaching and Learning

The program includes a blend of lectures, lab work, field training, research, and case studies.

Coursework and Assessment

Master’s Thesis:
To earn a Master’s degree in Art Therapy, students must complete 18 compulsory credit hours, 12 elective credit hours, and 6 thesis credits. Students select their thesis topic in consultation with their supervisor and must defend it before a committee of experts in the field.

Comprehensive Exam:

Students must complete 21 compulsory credit hours and 15 elective credit hours. The comprehensive exam is conducted in accordance with the Faculty of Graduate Studies regulations.
