An-Najah Recognizes Student Innovation in Sustainability Competition
The Sustainable Development Office at An-Najah National University awarded certificates of participation to students who submitted projects to the Eco-Responsible Innovation Student Award – DDRSE Student Sustainability Prize, in recognition of their creativity and efforts in developing initiatives that promote innovation, environmental responsibility, and social impact in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals.
The evaluation committee was chaired by Prof. Khaled Al-Saheli, President of the Mediterranean Network of Engineering and Management Schools (RMEIM), and included Dr. Luay Abu Reidah, Coordinator of the Sustainable Development Office; Dr. Sameh Muna, Director of the Department of Architectural Engineering and Planning; and Dr. Abdulhaleem Khader, Assistant Dean of Scientific Research. The committee reviewed and assessed the submitted projects based on criteria including innovation, and social and environmental impact.
The awarding of participation certificates reflects the University’s appreciation of students’ contributions and aims to encourage them to further develop their innovative ideas and engage in university activities and initiatives related to sustainable development.
