An-Najah University Advances Dialogue on AI and Cybersecurity at Digital Economy Forum
Reaffirming An-Najah National University’s commitment to leadership in artificial intelligence and its integration into academic excellence and quality frameworks, Dr. Mohammad Sharaf, Vice President for Innovation and Artificial Intelligence, took part in the Digital Economy Investment Forum, held in Amman, Jordan, on September 22, 2025. The forum brought together leading experts, investors, and policymakers from across the region.
The event highlighted promising investment opportunities in the Arab world’s digital economy within the broader context of global digital transformation toward a more sustainable and secure future. It served as a platform for dialogue, knowledge exchange, and the development of strategic regional partnerships.
Dr. Sharaf chaired the opening session, “Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity: Pillars of Digital Transformation,” which explored the crucial role of cybersecurity in safeguarding digital infrastructure, showcased AI applications across sectors, and identified emerging investment opportunities in these two vital fields. The session was recognized as one of the forum’s cornerstone discussions, given its focus on building investor confidence in the region’s digital ecosystem.
