An-Najah University and Palestinian Insurance Federation Sign MoU to Enhance Training and Research
An-Najah National University, represented by President Prof. Abdel Naser Zaid, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Palestinian Insurance Federation, headed by Chairman Mr. Hamzeh Shrouf, on Wednesday, May 28, 2025. The agreement aims to strengthen collaboration in developing professional competencies, advancing training, and promoting research in the insurance sector.
The signing ceremony was attended by Dr. Saed Koni, Vice President for Administrative Affairs; Dr. Rafat Jallad, Dean of the Faculty of Business and Communication; and Mr. Kayed Ma’ari, Secretary General of the Federation.
The MoU seeks to prepare qualified professionals in insurance and risk management, align student skills with labor market needs, and support national economic development. It also promotes joint research, professional training, and experience exchange through conferences, workshops, and courses.
Prof. Zaid emphasized the University’s commitment to community service and preparing graduates to contribute to Palestine’s future. Mr. Shurouf described the partnership as a strategic step toward raising insurance awareness and boosting professional capacity.
