Under the patronage of Prof. Abdel Nasser Zaid, President of An-Najah National University, and in line with the University's strategic commitment to enhancing the quality of education, the Center for Excellence in Learning and Teaching at An-Najah Innovation Park, in partnership with the University's E-Learning Center, has launched a new training program titled 'Academic Teaching Certificate.' This initiative is aimed at equipping new faculty members with the skills and knowledge necessary to navigate the University's systems and apply the latest teaching and assessment methodologies, in accordance with the University's broader objective of fostering academic excellence.


This program represents a significant step in the University's continuous efforts to improve academic performance by integrating cutting-edge teaching technologies and assessment practices. It seeks to empower faculty members and drive forward the development of the educational process across the institution.

The inaugural session was attended by Dr. Abdel Salam Al-Khayyat, Vice President for Academic Affairs; Dr. Saed Al-Koni, Vice President for Administrative Affairs; Dr. Naeem Salameh, Assistant Vice President for Humanities Faculties; Dr. Majdi Dweikat, Assistant Vice President for Medical Disciplines; Dr. Mohammad Najjar, Director of Human Resources; Dr. Mohammad Yaseen, Director of the E-Learning Center; and Dr. Mohammad Sabbah, Director of the Training Academy at An-Najah Innovation Park and the Center for Excellence in Learning and Teaching.

The first day of the program covered key themes, including modern strategies for teaching and learning, as well as innovative assessment methods. Participants were also introduced to the use of artificial intelligence tools in education and research, with the session concluding with a hands-on workshop on developing courses using Moodle.

The training program will continue over the course of a week, providing comprehensive insights into the latest trends and tools in education to enhance the capabilities of An-Najah's academic staff.
