An-Najah University Engages in EdViCon Erasmus+ Project Meetings in Malaysia

An-Najah National University participated in the Portable Video Conferencing Toolkits and Online Applications for Engaging Learning Experience Design in Higher Education Classroom (EDViCon) project, funded by the European Union’s Erasmus+ program. Representing the university, Dr. Suhail Salha and Mr. Alaa Nasser attended a series of administrative meetings aimed at evaluating the project's progress and approving plans for upcoming stages.
The meetings, hosted by the University of Technology Mara (UiTM) in Kuching, Malaysia, provided a platform for in-depth discussions on the project's development. Participants included teachers and specialists in technical support and educational design from An-Najah's Innovation Park, the E-Learning Center, and other departments.
During the sessions, the team reviewed various video conferencing systems purchased by partner universities, tailored to meet the specific needs of each country and address challenges faced by their higher education institutions. This collaborative approach ensured that the selected technologies were effective and context-appropriate.
The primary goal of the EdViCon project is to facilitate and promote an engaging educational experience using portable video conferencing for online teaching. The project aims to cater to the diverse pedagogical needs of various learning environments, from classrooms and studios to laboratories.
EdViCon also seeks to support digital transformation in higher education by enhancing digital readiness, flexibility, and capacity. By fostering innovative learning and teaching practices, the project aims to boost the digital capabilities of the higher education sector.
