American Academy School Partners with An-Najah for an Enriching Educational Visit as Part of the “Choose Your Path and Pursue It” Program

As part of the “Choose Your Path and Pursue It” program, the American Academy School recently organized a comprehensive visit to An-Najah National University. The visit featured faculty members Ms. Manal Issa and Mr. Thaer Alawneh, alongside program coordinator Mr. Alaa Al-Jitan and tenth-grade students participating in the initiative. Upon arrival, the delegation was warmly welcomed by Mr. Mohammad Morshed from the university’s Public Relations Department, in the presence of representatives from the Admissions and Registration Office and faculty members from the faculties of medicine, engineering, and science, who engaged with the students on topics relevant to their academic interests.
The visit commenced with Mr. Mohammad Morshed delivering an overview of An-Najah’s history, mission, and vision, emphasizing the university’s legacy of over 100 years in educating and empowering generations of students. Mr. Alaa Al-Jitan highlighted how the visit aligns with the school’s mission to guide students toward their academic and professional futures by offering them firsthand exposure to diverse university programs.
A representative from the Admissions and Registration Office briefed the students on admission procedures, grading policies, and enrollment requirements. Faculty members from the faculties of medicine, engineering, and science presented an overview of their disciplines, explaining how these programs align with labor market needs and prepare students for emerging career opportunities. The sessions also introduced students to the scholarships, academic exchange programs, and research initiatives that enable access to global opportunities.
At the conclusion of the visit, Ms. Manal Issa expressed her appreciation to the university’s faculty for providing invaluable insights to the students, underscoring the importance of direct interaction in helping students make well-informed academic decisions. Mr. Thaer Alawneh extended heartfelt thanks to the university’s leadership, represented by Prof. Abdel Nasser Zaid, President of An-Najah National University, for facilitating the visit and creating a meaningful experience for the students.
