Eng. Mohammad Daqqa, Dean of Student Affairs and Chairman of the Election Committee, opened the meeting by expressing his appreciation to the Election Supervision Committee and the students for adhering to all election guidelines throughout the process. He welcomed the agreement between the Islamic Bloc and the Student Youth Movement, expressing hope that this collaboration would contribute to broader national reconciliation. Eng. Daqqa also encouraged continued student engagement in union activities, emphasizing the importance of their role in serving the university community.

The newly formed council reflects an equitable distribution of seats among the blocs. The Islamic Bloc and the Student Youth Movement each secured six seats, while the Progressive Student Labor Front gained one seat. The full composition of the Student Council is as follows:
