An-Najah Participates in Training Program as Part of “Digital Transformation” Project in Beirut




Twelve participants from An-Najah National University participated in a training program on digitization of education as part of the “Digital Transformation” project which took place in Beirut, Lebanon during this week in January, 2023.
The training aimed at improving the academics' and specialists' skills at the Palestinian universities in the field of digitalization in education.
The University’s participants included Dr. Saida Affouneh, President's Assistant for Digitalization and E-Learning, Dr. Fakher Al-Khalili, Head of the Department of Psychology and Counseling at the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences, Dr. Louay Abu Al-Saud, Head of the Department of History and the Department of Tourism and Archeology at the Faculty of Humanities, Dr. Mamoun Mbarkah, Dr. Soheil Salha, Mr. Basel Abdel-Razeq, Mr. Abdul-Rahman Qadan, and Mr. Amjad Hassan from the Faculty of Humanities, Mr. Ahmed Al-Nubani, Eng. Lama Yassin, Mr. Musab Miari, and Mr. Alaa Nasser from the University’s E-Learning Center.
The event also included the participation of a group of academics and specialists from Birzeit University and Al-Aqsa University, Gaza Strip.
It is worth mentioning that this training program was held as part of the "Accelerating the Digital Transformation of Higher Education in the Middle East" project, which lasted for more than two years, and included three phases, two of which were completed through Zoom and the Moodle platforms. The project was fully funded by the Francophone University Agency (AUF).
