On Wednesday, October 27, 2021, An-Najah National University signed an MOU with Paltel, Palestine Telecommunications Company, to jointly offer training programs for the "Communication and Digital Marketing" Program's students, which is offered recently by the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences at the University.


This partnership will provide opportunities for joint research, training programs being conducted and an exchange of ideas along with a lot of collaboration between An-Najah and Paltel. One of the key focuses of the University is industry collaboration. So when our students graduate, they have the knowledge and skill-set that is required by the current trends in the industry.

The MOU aims at enriching the students learning experience in the fields of digital marketing and electronic media, and prepare them for their future. The signing ceremony took place at the Old Campus in the presence of a number of officials, and the MoU was signed by Prof. Abdel Nasser Zaid, President of the University and Mr. Maen Melhem, the General Manager of Palestine Telecommunications Company – Paltel.

As part of the agreement, the University's students will have the opportunity to take part in internships at Paltel, giving them a chance to work on some of Paltel’s current projects. 

Commenting on the agreement, prof. Zaid, “We are delighted to be working with Paltel, and look forward to collaborating with them to support education in our society. This fits well with the University's continuous commitment towards education and equipping students with the right skills and knowledge as part of our focus on quality education in line with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.”

“Through this partnership, we aspire to achieve our mutual goals by bringing together academic excellence with corporate knowledge and technology to create a complete educational experience for the University’s students.,” he added.
