Accreditation of Islamic Finance MA Program

An-Najah University obtained accreditation by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research Accreditation and Quality Assurance Commission (AQAC) for the Islamic Finance MA program.
The program is the first of its kind in Palestine that deals with Islamic financial industry.
The program aims to increase students' knowledge of science related to Islamic finance, bank assets, and financial transactions in Islamic banking, and teach them about financial analysis, market studies, Islamic banking, risk management and Takaful insurance, a type of Islamic insurance wherein members contribute money into a pool system to guarantee each other against loss or damage.
In addition, the program offers various skills in financial sciences based on the foundations and rules of Islamic law.
Potential graduates may have job opportunities in Islamic banks, Islamic insurance companies, Islamic leasing companies, or Islamic financial markets.
The program consists of 36 credit hours.
