The program is the first of its kind in Palestine that deals with Islamic financial industry.‎

The program aims to increase students' knowledge of science related to Islamic finance, ‎bank assets, and financial transactions in Islamic banking, and teach them about financial ‎analysis, market studies, Islamic banking, risk management and‏ ‏Takaful insurance, a type ‎of Islamic insurance wherein members contribute money into a pool system to guarantee ‎each other against loss or damage.‎

In addition, the program offers various skills‏ ‏in financial sciences based on the ‎foundations and rules of Islamic law.‎

Potential graduates may have job opportunities in Islamic banks, Islamic insurance ‎companies, Islamic leasing companies, or Islamic financial markets.‎

The program consists of 36 credit hours.‎
